Our Story Begins Here

Here’s the Buzz.

Our Founder

Hi, I’m Ciara Crawford — a passionate educator, artist, and childcare professional with over a decade of experience helping children learn, grow, and discover their voices. I’ve spent the last 11 years working with families around the world, gaining hands-on experience with children from 6 weeks to 14 years old.

My background is as diverse as the children I’ve worked with. I’ve been a babysitter, children’s fitness instructor, cheer and gymnastics coach, summer camp counselor, theater director, mentor, program coordinator, and substitute teacher — each role strengthening my belief that every child learns best through creativity, movement, and connection.

My career has also been an adventure that’s taken me across the globe — from the U.S. to Ireland, New Zealand, Barcelona, and Mexico — working with families from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. Those experiences taught me how to adapt, communicate, and build genuine relationships that honor each child’s individuality.

Beyond childcare, I’m also the founder of CLC Studios & Publishing, where I work as a children’s book author and illustrator. I’ve created multiple picture book series and educational media projects that blend art, storytelling, and learning including “Story Seekers,” a French-learning series for kids, and “La Clase de Voyage : The Traveling Class,” which introduces young audiences to new cultures and languages.

Through all my ventures from classrooms to creative studios my mission has stayed the same: to nurture curiosity, celebrate imagination, and create spaces where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to be themselves.

Now with Bright Bees Daycare, I’m bringing all those experiences together to build a warm, engaging environment where little learners can explore, play, and grow every day..

There are drawings and scribbles on the paper and on a black chalkboard behind them. The scene is well-lit by natural light coming from a window with blinds.

Whatever it is, YOU can make all the difference.
